I used Cryptpad a few times but I'm not yet very used to the tool.
When trying to create a new file, I accessed my drive at https://cryptpad.fr/drive/ .
However last time I left, I was on the "Recent" tab. When I came back and looked through the interface, I lost some time trying to find an icon to create a new doc. I didn't know/understand/expect that I needed to change tab to create a file.
I couldn't find the create icon and understandably so because I was still on the "Recent" tab.
It took me a while (about a minute but still 🙃 ) to understand what happened and how not to get lost like this again.
I would have expected one or the other:
- to get back to a home page (e.g. the root of the drive) when opening my drive, with a create button inside
- to be able to create a file from here (or wherever I can start my session from), something like a permanent interface element to create a file at the root of the drive folder.
This is a minor issue in my user experience, and it'd definitely never happen to a more knowledgeable user, but I think it still ought to be reported.
