Can't finish enabling 2FA

I've followed steps in the Account setting and checked the official guide, but I can't enable 2FA. I'm stuck on step 3

Snap the QR code with a 2FA app of your choice (or copy the address and paste into your app)

Copy/paste link and open - do nothing. What have I missed?

Hello,

Are you trying to paste that otpauth:// link in your web browser? You can just scan the QR code with your authentication application instead, no?

What authentication app are you using?

I've tried opening in browser (MS Edge and Firefox) - as result I receive a search result. With Android after scanning the qrcode - I'm just receiving same otpauth:// but following this link don't give any result.

Update: I've enabled it. just extra I's using Aegis app. I really don't know how it's managed to be solved. Lastly I re-loggin into my CryptPad account and tried in private mode window

It's a misunderstanding. You need some authentication app like Aegis, 2fas, Google Authenticator, etc. You can't open any otpauth:// link from your web browser, the link is for this app you choose.

The app goes on your phone and usually it'll prompt you to scan the QR code, which is much more convenient to use than the URL.
