Feel free to keep using the Matrix chat, I agree that it's better for synchronous communications. The purpose of the forum is more long term, to allow discussions to be documented and searchable, which the chat is not good at.

I am a Matrix evangelist and sponsor so much, so I also set up the NicFab Matrix instance.
Almost all my communication turns out around Matrix, and so it is more convenient than the Forum 😀
Anyway, I am here, and I hope to be helpful.
