Bug: Deleting a bullet point causes random text loss

Hey folks,

I'm facing a severe problem that I don't understand. In my Rich Text file happens the following:
When I add a paragraph (for instance by placing my cursor in front of a Header and press enter), unintentionally a bullet point is added. When I delete that bullet point at first the app freezes for some seconds, then it deletes the bullet point but with it randomly (to me it seems to be random) several paragraphs and changes the format of a lot of Headers and so on.

Any idea for a fix?

Can you share a screen recording of the behavior your are describing? Or even better, a link to the impacted document?

Hey Mathilde,

when I realized that it was only one specific file that was affected and not a general problem, I decided to rebuild it in a fresh new file. That seems to work now.

It was not so easy to share the file or do a screen recording as it is a file I don't want to show in public.

Anyway: If your are still interested in the issue let me know cause I appreciate CryptPad and If I can help...

Thanks for your answer. I definitely understand your concerns regarding privacy!

That's why we bundled a support ticketing system into CryptPad. For example, if you are using our flagship instance, CryptPad.fr, you can head over https://cryptpad.fr/support/ and open a ticket. As everything else in CryptPad it's end-to-end encrypted, hence preserving your privacy, and you can even add attachments (images and GIF) to your tickets.
