It'd be really helpful if there is a little search box on a (shared) folder view where you can search a string recursively in the folder filenames (content would probably be too slow as we need to decrypt the docs afaik).

I'd love to work on such feature if necessary. I work in tech.

Hello @mohamed--abdel-maksoud , welcome to the forum.

I'd suggest that you maybe post a screenshot / mockup to clarify the difference to the current search box, where one can search via string for folder names. See my screenshot as an example (that I used for the word "search" is just a coincidence) which search function I mean:

Regarding helping work on features in general or such a feature I made the experience that currently one can reach the CryptPad team regarding coding best via the chat channels.
