Mandatory filed in form

Hello! Anybody knows if it is possible to mark a field or a question of a form mandatory?
Right now I add "required" <input type="text" id="name" name="name" required> but there is another way?

Did you already see the "Edit"-Button on the lower left corner of a added form item, where you can set the answer from "Optional" to "Required"?

Does this solve your question or are you missing a specific option regarding required answers?
