I’ve been using WordPad for basic text editing, but I’m looking for a reliable online alternative that doesn’t require downloads. Ideally, it should support simple formatting like fonts, bold, italics, bullet points, and basic tables.
I occasionally need to open .rtf and .txt files, so compatibility is important. Security is also a concern since I sometimes handle sensitive information. Are there any free or freemium WordPad-like editors online that you’d recommend?
Experiences, pros and cons, or even tips for using WordPad in the browser would be really helpful.
