Where forms are used for registration, signup, logs and bookings some responses are required longer than others. For example a form recording/storing:
- Key holders and when those keys are returned (you don't want the user to delete their own record but want to delete it for them when keys are returned).
- Room bookings requests (you want to keep the details safely in the form until the booking is complete and then delete them - some bookings are repeating, others one off, some soon others further in the future).
- Maintenance fault report (you want anyone to enter them but someone else to delete the ones dealt with and leave the others).
Regarding the concern that are author could sway vote information - could allowing an author to delete individual entries be an option like allowing anonymous responses? Then a banner could be displayed stating the author can delete individual entries.
