I am trying to use Cryptpad forms to organise a dinner party event. I used to use Google sheets to achieve this, but am moving away from big tech. One of the other things I like about Cryptpad for this purpose is that people don't need to create accounts to RSVP to my event.
For the last event I did, I just sent out a sheets document with columns that people could fill in. This worked in a pinch, but I got quite a low response rate. I think this is because it's more cognitive load for people. I figure that a form would be easier for everyone, especially on mobile devices, and this would help increase the response rate.
So I created a form where people can enter whether they are coming, and if so, what food they are bringing and whether they have any dietary restrictions. This form is fine, except that I want others' responses to be visible to the guests as they are answering these questions, because their answers will be contingent upon others'. For example, if person A says they can't eat meat, person B would want to know this when they submit the form.
Any recommended solutions? Is it possible to collect the data in a sheet and link to that?
