Hi,
After recent update to (Northern Hemisphere) Spring release and switch to independent onlyoffice, we have noticed that previously generated public edit links now give a Read Only access to spreadsheets. So a not logged in user with such a link till recently could edit the spreadsheet, now with the same link can not, there is a "Read Only" banner at the top. There is also a warning that the file has to be first opened by a logged in user, but after doing so (and going through "updating the document"), only the warning disappears, but Read Only stays for not logged in users.

Is there anything to remediate this situation?

Is it something I missed during the upgrade that brought this behaviour, I don't see anyone else reporting similar problem?
Together with the upgrade, there was some minor cleaning of configs (for example integrating new changes in nginx conf), but I don't think anything would affect the links this way.

Thank you a lot for amazing work and this great privacy-enabling software.
Regards,

Hello,

After an OnlyOffice upgrade, guest users can't edit documents until they are migrated by a registered user. This is one of the main consequence of the fact that guests users can't upload static files to CryptPad.

For your case, having a registered user opening the document will fix the issue.

Hope this helps!
