In addition to my questions a) - c):
d) You said, you can bring back the form in admin (edit) mode from browser history, but cannot save it. Please check, you should always see the CryptPad "File" menu in the upper left corner and there you can retroactively save the form to your cryptdrive with the menu entry "Save in CryptDrive".
e) Please also check your CryptPad user settings. You can activate "Settings" --> "CryptDrive" --> "Document storage in CryptDrive" --> "manual (always ask)". So usally this should actively give you the option or remember you to save your form. I wonder if you maybe have isntead activated "Manual (never ask".
If the GUI elements for d) or e) are missing this would be a strange error. If so, please post a screenshot.
Unexpected behaviour:
What does me wonder is the CryptPad behaviour, this is unexpected to me:
If you never save a form, users can answer anywayit with the public link. I would have expected that an unsaved form (or document in general) gets destroyed. Instead it seems to be hidden somewhere on the CryptPad server. In my opinion it should at last be accessible via the trash "folder" - or don't exist at all.
@hbadger please give feedback to d) - e) if this answer is sufficient for you and the topic is "closed" or to a) - e) if you need more help. Thanks.
