Hello,

A general question here - is Cryptpad made with Mac users in mind?

A colleague put me on to it and I really want to use it, in fact I have built a whole file system in there.

However there are annoying things I consistently can't resolve that really hold up my work flow as I have to keep getting my colleague to go in and do them for me. I have build numerous website, a whole TV channel, filmed and uploaded all the content for that so I am pretty confident picking up new platforms. However on Cryptpad I feel like I am in kinder garden unable to do the most basic things.

Here are a couple:

If I highlight a file to access the drop down menu, when I let go of the mouse to scroll down the menu options the menu disappears. I can do some finger gymnastics and get the menu to remain until I reach the option I want to highlight, but then no matter which part of my keypad I click, Cryptpad doesn't register the option selection. I asked support about this and they said "all the options are available within the spreadsheet" - but I can't find an option to duplicate my whole spreadsheet which is what I want to do - and anyhow, I want the dropdown menu to work!
If I highlight rows of data in a spreadsheet to delete it, no matter what key I press on my keyboard or using the menu options within the spreadsheet, I can never do more than delete a single cell of data at a time. Obviously not tenable as I have a 20 page spreadsheet I need to clear up and refill.

I get along ok with CP until I come a cropper on silly little things like this, which no matter what I do I can't seem to resolve and am on the point of giving up on it.

I am working on a Macbook M3 Pro 2023 using OS Sonoma 14.2.1 on Google Chrome. I have logged out and back in to capture any new software updates. I could try a different browser but then again all my extensions are here in Chrome ...

Any thoughts appreciated.
